The majority of our events are free and many offer free childcare and a meal for you and your children.

I’ve been involved with the gardens for a few years. I really appreciate the support and guidance that I’ve received during my time there. I also really enjoy the interaction with other gardeners, especially first-time gardeners and seeing their results.
Cooking Matters for Families has helped me become more creative with cooking and use what we have at home. Cooking Matters has helped me feed my family better. Throughout the workshop, we have become more consciously aware of what we are putting into our bodies – we make an effort to read labels and incorporate more nutritionally dense foods.
The facilitators are beyond what I thought. They truly are compassionate, forthcoming, truthful, helpful and open minded. I gained so much knowledge that has helped me in my daily life. I can apply all aspects of this class to, of course, parenting but to other situational things with friends and family and others who need help and advice.
