The majority of our events are free and many offer free childcare and a meal for you and your children.
Real stories from our community
Cooking Matters for Families has helped me become more creative with cooking and use what we have at home. Cooking Matters has helped me feed my family better. Throughout the workshop, we have become more consciously aware of what we are putting into our bodies – we make an effort to read labels and incorporate more nutritionally dense foods.
This program has aided me first with education. My teacher, after listening to my concerns, promptly linked me with other resources. Now I am also getting assistance with family, food assistance, and more help with my future. I am very grateful for Community Partnership and the staff who help me.

I’ve been involved with the gardens for a few years. I really appreciate the support and guidance that I’ve received during my time there. I also really enjoy the interaction with other gardeners, especially first-time gardeners and seeing their results.
This course has given me so much. It has provided reassurance as a mother that I am doing a great job and know what I am doing. This course has also expanded my toolbox and helped me grow myself as a mother and ability to parent.
