About PAC
Our Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is a place for parents and caregivers to provide family voice and lived experiences about our programming, program implementation, and to discuss community and family needs. Get involved, provide feedback, and enhance program effectiveness and family success through collaboration with CP staff and community stakeholders.

Parent / Caregiver Testimonials
I love being a part of PAC! Thank you for your dedication to keeping it going.
CP has been very open to PAC ideas, training members, and very willing to learn and make this group work. I have nothing to add that isn’t already or has been done.
PAC has been an excellent opportunity for me to feel involved with our community. I have learned so much about Community Partnership and all of the wonderful things/resources they offer. I feel honored to serve as a PAC member.

No, currently it is a rewarding volunteer opportunity.
Is childcare provided during meetings?
Yes, we provide childcare and a home cooked meal for our PAC meetings.
Do I have to participate in a Community Partnership program to join PAC?
We are looking for feedback from caregivers who currently are or have previously participated in our programming. You do not have to be active in a program at the time of joining but we ask that you have participated in some programming at CP in the past. We also welcome community partners from resources and organizations to hear and learn from our PAC.
Can I join PAC if I’m not a parent?
Yes, PAC is intended for any caregiver in our community. Whether you are a grandparent raising grandchildren, adoptive parent, foster parent, or any other kind of caregiver – you are encouraged to join!
How do I join?
Reach out to us and let us know you are interested, or inquire with a CP representative, educator, advocate, or facilitator to get involved. You will be asked to complete a Self-Nomination form to be reviewed by the current PAC. Applications are accepted year-round, new members are invited to join once a year in September.
Are there eligibility requirements?
The only eligibility requirements are that you are a caregiver in our community, have been involved in or are involved in a CP program service, or a dedicated community member with a unique perspective on community needs.

We meet monthly (except December, June and July)
Why should I join?
We each have unique experiences and perspectives, and they are all important to consider when providing our community with programming, events, and services. We value your input to ensure CP is truly serving the community, making improvements, and always striving for continuous quality improvement.
