About PAC
Our Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) gives parents and caregivers a meaningful voice in shaping CP programs by sharing lived experiences, offering feedback, and identifying family and community needs. Members also grow their leadership skills by collaborating with staff and community partners to strengthen program impact.
What to expect:
Have your voice be heard
Your voice is vital to ensuring our programming meets the needs and expectations of our community. PAC meets regularly to discuss and provide feedback on upcoming events and how to get involved, past events and programming, CP processes for family engagement, challenges, and to ensure effective communication between families and CP.
Advocate for your Community and Community Center
Provide input and a caregiver perspective to help improve our community center, programming, and community events.
Get Involved
Help with community events and programming, connect your fellow community members with resources, and share your experiences with others who may also benefit.
Leadership and Learning
Learn how CP supports our community, and receive opportunities for community leadership development.
PAC addresses:
- Providing feedback and enhancing current programming and services.
- Suggesting improvements for future community needs.
- Advocating for families and addressing issues families are facing in our community.
- Engaging families and promoting our community center.

PAC is a volunteer opportunity.
Is childcare provided during meetings?
Yes, we provide childcare and a home cooked meal for our PAC meetings.
Do I have to participate in a CP program to join PAC?
We are looking for feedback from caregivers who currently are or have previously participated in our programming.Â
Can I join PAC if I’m not a parent?
Anyone who is currently caring for, or has previously cared for, children and who is or has been involved in CP’s programs is eligible to apply.
How do I join?
Reach out to us and let us know you are interested, or inquire with a CP representative.Â
How often do you meet and when?
Six times a year.
