About Crossroads
Create a cooperative and positive co-parenting relationship that is focused on your child’s development and well-being. This seminar can be used in any co-parenting situation such as divorcing parents, separated parents, grandparents, kin, or even multi-generational households. This seminar is court-approved for parents going through divorce or separation.

Separation is hard and learning how to communicate and work with a co-parent can be even harder. Put your differences aside and focus on your child’s well-being. Crossroads is a one time, 3-hour discussion-based seminar, that helps you establish a positive co-parenting relationship with your co-parent and provides you with skills to stay child-focused. You will go through the 5 prevention steps to avoid conflict which may impact your child and learn how to establish a positive co-parenting relationship. Co-parenting is not just parents who are separating but may also involve grandparents, siblings or other caregivers caring for the children.

Learn the basics of what co-parenting involves, including the key values, practices, and problem-solving techniques to maintain a positive and supportive parenting environment for your child(ren).
Impacts on Children
Understand how separation and co-parenting affect children emotionally and psychologically and how to best support your child through this transition.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a fee for this seminar?
Yes. There is a $35 fee for Crossroads. This fee includes a book, materials, and certificate of completion for yourself &/or court needs.
Do I have to register?
Yes, pre-registration is required. Sessions are offered monthly pending participation. A minimum of 4 people must be registered for a session to be held. If a session is canceled due to lack of enrollment, you will be automatically added to the next session.
Is Crossroads court approved?
Yes, Crossroads is approved by the Teller County court system.
Can I attend with my co-parent?
That depends. If you are in a high conflict divorce, if there is a protection order or if you simply do not get along, then no, you should attend separately.
Can I bring my kids?
Yes, childcare is available if you request it ahead of time. It is not appropriate for children to attend the seminar with you.
